RELIES ON PARTNERSHIP

we plant well with others
Adding 10 million trees to buffer streams, areas of stormwater concern, urban streets, abandoned and legacy mine land, and other priority landscapes is possible only through a broad and diverse collaboration of partners. Some partners work directly with landowners through tree planting and maintenance, while other partners offer research, outreach, volunteer, and donor support.
This growing list of partners includes a range of local, regional, and national conservation groups, commonwealth and federal government organizations, nursery and tree supply businesses, and other businesses throughout Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic.
free trees are just the beginning
Sustaining the Partnership by providing wide-ranging resources and assistance are key to its long-term success through 2025. This is why the partnership continues to provide free trees to all partners across the Commonwealth based on a regional priority request system. Tree shelters and stakes are also available in critical regions, at no charge, as funding is available.
We also offer partners new partner onboarding, ArcGIS training with login for tree tracking and reporting, ongoing in-person and virtual training, opportunities to request additional funding, networking to other partners, notices of funding opportunities, and a robust virtual partner toolkit.
The Partnership harnesses the collective strengths of science through partners like the Stroud Water Research Center, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Penn State Cooperative Extension, Pennsylvania Conservation Districts, the American Chestnut Foundation, and other research institutions. The on-the-ground connections and experience of many conservancies, watershed groups, and other experts and entities add valuable local depth to planting efforts.
